Social Security Disability Support has 6,558 members. This is a group to help support those who are in process of applying for SSD and want to hear what other's have gone through the process. With or without a lawyer. Please be kind to each other. It's frustrating enough to have a disability, even more frustrating when trying to get approval for SSD.

A kindergarten teacher sets up and runs a program support group. The group should meet at least once a term. If your child has a disability or additional needs and does not have a program support group, you can ask your kindergarten teacher to set one up. Disability support groups provide a place for people to talk about their experiences with others who have the same or similar conditions. Connecting with others is an important part of caring for ourselves that not only allows us to talk things through, but feel heard and understood.
